🌟 POP’s Weekly Encouragement

A new word of hope every Monday from Prince of Peace Church

This Week's Message –March 2, 2026 through March 9, 2026

✨"Blind But Now I See"

📖Scripture Focus: John 9:2–3 (KJV)

“And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

This past Sunday, we were reminded through a powerful message from our Pastor, that not every affliction is a punishment, and not every hardship is the result of wrongdoing. When the disciples saw the man born blind, they immediately assumed someone must have sinned. But Jesus corrected their thinking. The man’s condition was not about blame but it was about purpose.

Sometimes we carry burdens, limitations, or struggles that cause others to question—or even cause us to question ourselves. We may wonder, “What did I do wrong?” But the Word reminds us that not every trial is tied to guilt. Some battles are platforms for God’s glory.

  • Just because you were born into a difficult situation…

  • Just because you live with a physical, emotional, or spiritual challenge..

  • Just because others misunderstand your journey…

  • It does not mean you did something wrong

God can use what looks like a setback as a setup for revelation. The very area where you feel limited may be the place where His power shines the brightest. The man who was once blind became living proof that Jesus restores, redeems, and reveals the glory of God through broken places.

Be encouraged this week:

  • Your affliction is not proof of God’s punishment.

  • Your struggle does not cancel your purpose.

  • What feels like darkness can become a testimony of light.

  • God can use your story to reveal His glory.

At Prince of Peace, we stand on the truth that God is still opening blind eyes—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. He is still turning pain into praise and confusion into clarity.

If you’ve ever felt labeled, judged, or misunderstood, remember: your story is not defined by affliction but by the glory God will reveal through you. Blind—but now we see.
