🌟 POP’s Weekly Encouragement
A new word of hope every Monday from Prince of Peace Church
This Week's Message –February 2, 2026 through February 9, 2026
✨God Is Our Refuge In Time of Trouble✨
📖Scripture Focus: Psalm 46.1 (KJV)
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble".
In this season, many of the saints of God are carrying heavy hearts. The ongoing turmoil surrounding immigration enforcement has brought fear, uncertainty, and distress into homes, churches, and communities. For some, it feels personal. For others, it feels close to home. Yet in the midst of it all, God remains our refuge being steady, present, and faithful.
When the world feels unstable, we are reminded that our security is not rooted in systems, policies, or circumstances, but in the unchanging nature of God. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and walks closely with those who feel afraid or unsure. Even when answers are unclear, His presence is constant.
💙 Be encouraged this week:
-
God is near to those who are anxious, fearful, or burdened
-
No family, home, or heart is invisible to Him
-
Prayer is a powerful refuge when fear tries to overwhelm
-
God’s peace can guard our hearts even in uncertain times
-
We are called to stand together as a church family, lifting one another in love
-
At Prince of Peace, we commit to being a place of prayer, compassion, and support. This is a time to lean into faith, extend grace, and care deeply for one another. Let us choose faith over fear, unity over isolation, and hope over despair.
As you move through this week, rest in the truth that God is with you, God is for you, and God will sustain you. You are not alone.
