🌟 POP’s Weekly Encouragement
A new word of hope every Monday from Prince of Peace Church
This Week's Message –March 16, 2026 through March 23, 2026
✨"Covering Our Children During Spring Break"✨
📖Scripture Focus: Psalms 121: 7-8 (KJV)
"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore".
As many schools and colleges begin Spring Break this week and next, families often experience a mix of excitement and concern. Students are looking forward to rest, travel, and time with friends after a busy season of classes and responsibilities. At the same time, parents may feel a sense of caution as their children step into new environments and greater independence.
Spring Break can be a refreshing pause, but it is also a moment to remember that God’s protection and guidance go with our children wherever they are. Even when we cannot be physically present, our prayers, our teachings, and the faith we have poured into them continue to guide their steps.
Parents, take comfort in knowing that God watches over your children in ways we never could. And students, remember that wherever you go, you carry the values, wisdom, and faith that have been planted in your life.
Be encouraged this week:
-
God’s protection goes with our children wherever they travel
-
The values parents plant today continue to guide their decisions tomorrow
-
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts a parent can give their child
-
Time away can be refreshing, but wisdom and good choices should always travel with us
-
God sees every step our children take and faithfully watches over them
-
The seeds of faith planted at home continue to grow even when we cannot see it
At Prince of Peace, we lift up every student and family in prayer during this Spring Break season. Whether our children are traveling, spending time with friends, or simply resting at home, we trust that God’s hand is upon them. As a church family, we believe that the prayers of parents and the seeds of faith planted in our homes continue to guide and protect our children wherever they go.
Our prayer this week is that every student returns refreshed, safe-strengthened and that every parent finds peace in knowing that God is faithfully watching over their children.
