JOHN GIDDEN

Pastor John Gidden is passionate about seeing lives healed and changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ! His aspiration for doing a work for God has led to his involvement with teaching Sunday school, preaching, evangelizing, outreach, and music ministry.  John moved to Saint Louis in 2005 when he became a member of Prince of Peace Church.  Shortly thereafter, he married his wife, Rebecca Gidden. Together, they have continued to seek out opportunities for ministering to their local community and the congregation of POP Church. 

In June 2017, John and Rebecca were nominated and voted in as pastor and first lady. Today, they continue to seek out innovative ways for impacting change and culture in the community.  During their combined 30+ years of ministry, they have witnessed and experienced God’s miraculous working power. This includes the sick being healed and people being delivered from addiction. It is their desire that through forging new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships with members of the community, they can bring hope and life into a decaying environment through the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
