As children return to school, this season can bring many different emotions. may be excited to see their friends and begin a new year, while others may be nervous about new teachers, new classmates, harder schoolwork, or simply fitting in.

Parents can experience anxiety too. We send our children into schools knowing that we cannot be there to protect them every moment of the day. We may worry about their safety, friendships, academic struggles, bullying, peer pressure, or the choices they will make when we are not around.

Students

But this week, let us remember something important: where we cannot go with our children, God can. When they walk through the doors of their school, God is there. When they sit in the classroom, God is there. When they face a difficult decision, God is there. And when parents find themselves worrying about what they cannot control, God reminds us that our children are never outside of His sight.

Parents, continue to pray, encourage, teach, and guide—but also trust. You have planted seeds in your children, and now you must trust God to help those seeds grow.

Students, remember that you don't have to face this school year alone. When you feel nervous, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself, talk to God. Ask Him for wisdom, courage, good friendships, and strength to make the right choices.

✨ Be encouraged this week:

Pray over your children before they leave home.
Remind them that they are loved, capable, and never alone.
Students, don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Choose friends who encourage you to make good decisions.
Parents, replace worry with prayer whenever anxiety begins to rise.
Trust that God can protect, guide, and strengthen our children even when we cannot be beside them.

💜 Parents, you don't have to carry the weight of this school year alone. Students, you don't have to walk into the classroom alone. As we begin this new school year, let's walk forward with faith instead of fear—trusting that the same God who watches over us is watching over our children too.
